Marketing planning and strategy

The marketing plan is the driving force in any business plan determining who the customers are and how to engage with them. I have undertaken desk research and consultation on behalf of a number of clients, developing questionaires, facilitating focus groups and analysing the resulting data to develop forward plans.

Marketing communications and brand implementation

The effectiveness of any collateral can be severely compromised if doesn't properly support the company's marketing plan and brand. My practical knowledge and ability in this area allows me to develop marketing collateral that is targeted, appropriate and cost-effective. Drawing on a network of skilled and experienced associates I am able to to produce high quality material that is effective and to price. Applying marketing integrity and copywriting skills further ensures everything is 'on-brand' in the development of electronic or paper-based marketing material.

Communications and PR

Well-practiced at developing employee messaging and media trained, I have a breadth of ability that spans the spectrum of communications delivered 'at the sharp end' such as operating in a press officer role, writing news releases and copy for newsletters and responding to press enquiries. This not only enables me to deliver individual communication projects quickly and effectively but also helps when working at more strategic levels producing comprehensive communication plans and strategies. This mix of 'big picture' view and practical implementation is key to ensuring the broader opportunities presented by an organisation's relationship with its various publics are factored into the planning. This 'integrated communications' approach is fundamental to the modern concept of relationship marketing.
