About
Chris Greenhill
Chris
Greenhill is a versatile communications professional with
broad-ranging experience in both internal and external communications
gained in both the private and public sectors.
A qualified marketer, he brings the rigour and strategy to
communications necessary for effective results.
Chris
is well used to dealing with the communications associated
with both the highs and lows of business, having spent much
of his career in the high-tech industry and seen the rise
and fall of that market.
In
addition to being an experienced function head, Chris has
successfully lead diverse teams of communication specialists
using his management skills to recruit, develop and retain
staff and to implement the change that delivers business goals
and which ensures continuing effectiveness and value.
Whilst
corporate communications is most relevant to large organisations,
Chris applies the same marketing philosophy and strategic
thinking to his work as a business advisor and mentor for
smaller businesses in all stages of their development -- from
pre-start onwards. This support spans one-to-one mentoring,
project management and delivering development workshops. His
experience extends beyond the private sector to include social
enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations. As a board
director of several companies he also has direct understanding
of the non-executive role in an organisation.
Chris
is highly IT literate with a capability that encompasses a
range of business software and extends to image manipulation
and draw packages. Strong interpersonal skills allow him to
work alongside individuals at every level of an organisation.
Importantly he has the breadth of ability and knowledge that
enables him to think strategically and deliver effective results.
Chris
is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM),
Institute of Business Advisors (AIBA) and British Institute
of Professional Photography (ABIPP)
